Centre for Anthropological and Ethnosociological Studies (CAESS), following its main objectives, is running several projects designed, on the one hand, to support implementation of the new research paradigms in the process of education and, on the other hand, to facilitate cooperation between Bulgarian and foreign scholars. The most important of them are the Program PHILEUM in the Humanities and Social Sciences, the International Academic Network on Anthropology project and the Theoretical Interdisciplinary Seminar. The Centre have run some international research and applied projects, including „Heritages, Tourism, Social Dynamics: Comparative Research on the New Uses of Europe", FRAMEWORK PROGRAM CULTURE 2000, „Successful Studying of Foreign Students – the Bulgarian Case".
